Terms and Conditions of Sale and Services – Verde Marrakech

Article 1 – Purpose and scope

These Terms and Conditions of Sale and Services define the conditions applicable to services offered by the restaurant Verde Marrakech, operated by HKBY.

They cover:

  • Individual table reservations.
  • À la carte dining services.
  • Group menus and packages.
  • Dinner shows and special evenings.
  • Private and corporate events.
  • Partial or exclusive hire of the entire establishment.
  • Services requiring a deposit or online payment.

A standard table reservation is completely free of charge and does not constitute a sale.

Payments relate exclusively to dining and paid services expressly selected or accepted by the customer.

Any paid service requires prior acceptance of the terms applicable to it.

Article 3 – Table reservations

A standard table reservation at Verde Marrakech is free of charge.

Reservations can be made through the official platform or directly with the restaurant team.

The customer must provide accurate information about their name, contact details, preferred date and time, and number of guests.

The reservation remains subject to the establishment’s availability and confirmation.

No payment is required for a standard table reservation, unless the customer selects a specific service requiring a deposit or prepayment.

Seating preferences are considered subject to availability, with no guarantee of a particular location unless expressly confirmed by the establishment.

Article 4 – Services and offerings

Verde Marrakech offers a range of dining and event services.

À la carte dining: customers freely choose their food and drinks from the menu offered at the restaurant.

Group menus: specific packages are available by advance reservation, with a choice of menus and drink options.

Dinner shows: the establishment offers an experience combining dining, a musical atmosphere and artistic entertainment according to its programme.

Private events: birthdays, celebrations, receptions and other events organised according to the agreed services.

Corporate events: seminars, company dinners, closing parties, presentations and business receptions.

Exclusive hire: exclusive use of certain spaces or the entire establishment, according to the terms of the accepted quotation.

Each service is defined by its description, pricing conditions and, where applicable, its commercial proposal.

Article 5 – Prices, currencies and conversion

Service prices may be displayed in the following currencies:

  • MAD: Moroccan dirham.
  • EUR: euro.
  • USD: US dollar.

The customer may select the display currency offered on the website.

Amounts shown in foreign currencies may be calculated using a conversion rate applied by the platform.

Converted prices may vary according to the exchange rates used.

The display currency does not necessarily correspond to the currency in which the payment is processed.

Before any transaction, the customer must be able to review the total amount payable, the payment currency and any additional charges that may apply.

Bank or conversion fees may be charged by the card issuer or the relevant financial service providers.

Service fees, where applicable, are shown before payment is confirmed.

The service prices are those communicated to the customer when placing the order or accepting the quotation.

Article 6 – Payment arrangements

Online payments are offered on Verde Marrakech’s official platform:

The platform uses WooCommerce to manage orders and transactions relating to paid services.

Payment methods

Depending on the solutions enabled and available at the time of the transaction, the payment methods offered include:

  • Visa cards.
  • Mastercard cards.
  • American Express.
  • PayPal.
  • CMI – Centre Monétique Interbancaire, an electronic payment solution in Morocco.

Payment through CMI

Transactions made through CMI are intended to be processed in Moroccan dirhams (MAD), according to the configuration of Verde Marrakech’s payment module.

When the customer views a price in euros (EUR) or US dollars (USD), the amount payable through CMI is presented in MAD before payment is confirmed.

The conversion rate used and the final amount must be shown in the order summary.

Any foreign exchange fees charged by the customer’s bank are independent of Verde Marrakech’s prices.

Payment validation

Payment is subject to authorisation by the bank or payment provider.

A declined, interrupted or incomplete transaction does not confirm a service requiring prepayment.

A confirmation is provided after the transaction and the relevant service have been validated.

Verde Marrakech never asks customers to share their bank card PIN by email, telephone or WhatsApp.

Article 7 – Group reservations and menus

Group menus are offered subject to the establishment’s availability.

The packages currently presented include the Palmiers, Nikkei, Verde and Premium menus.

The menu choice must be communicated and confirmed with the restaurant at least four days before the dinner date.

Food and drink choices and any special dietary requests must be finalised within the agreed deadlines.

For group reservations requiring a deposit, the amount usually requested is 50% of the agreed total, unless specific conditions are set out in the accepted quotation.

The commercial proposal specifies the arrangements for paying the balance.

For groups of 21 people or more, the final number of guests must be confirmed no later than four days before dinner, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Any reduction in the number of participants after this deadline may result in charges in accordance with the commitments accepted by the customer.

Changes to services remain subject to Verde Marrakech’s agreement.

Article 8 – Spaces and exclusive hire

Verde Marrakech has several spaces that can host private and corporate events.

Capacities depend on the chosen layout and the event’s requirements.

Partial or exclusive hire of the entire establishment is possible, subject to space availability.

Pricing conditions are defined in a commercial proposal specifying, in particular:

  • The reserved space.
  • The date and times.
  • The number of guests.
  • The menu and drinks.
  • Any entertainment included.
  • Any minimum spend.
  • The payment and cancellation conditions.

Applicable minimum spends are communicated in the quotation.

Any additional technical, artistic or logistical service must be approved in advance.

A reservation for exclusive use of a space becomes final according to the arrangements set out in the accepted proposal.

Article 9 – Special evenings and New Year’s Eve

Special evenings, including New Year’s Eve, may have a specific menu, artistic programme and reservation conditions.

New Year’s Eve on 31 December 2026

To welcome 2027, Verde Marrakech offers a dinner show featuring a classic or vegetarian menu, accompanied by artistic and musical entertainment.

The announced reference price for this evening is 2,800 MAD per person.

Any service fees are shown in the summary before payment.

Full payment is required to confirm attendance at this evening.

Children are welcome when accompanied by their parents, and the same price applies to adults and children for this edition.

Tables are allocated according to the order in which reservations are confirmed and the availability of seating.

Reservations confirmed first receive priority for seating facing the stage, without an absolute guarantee of a particular location.

The cancellation conditions specific to New Year’s Eve are set out in Article 11.

Article 10 – Service confirmation

A standard table reservation is confirmed after approval by the establishment.

For services requiring a deposit or full payment, confirmation takes place according to the arrangements communicated when ordering or in the accepted quotation.

The customer receives confirmation information using the contact details provided.

It is the customer’s responsibility to check that the date, time, number of people and selected services are correct.

Any error must be reported to Verde Marrakech as soon as possible.

Article 11 – Changes, cancellations and refunds

The conditions for changes and cancellation vary according to the service booked.

11.1 – Standard table reservations

Free reservations may be cancelled by contacting the restaurant.

No cancellation fee is charged for a standard table reservation with no financial commitment.

11.2 – Group reservations

For group services requiring a deposit, the following conditions constitute the usual framework, unless different provisions are expressly accepted in the quotation:

  • Up to seven days before dinner: requests for changes or postponement may be considered subject to availability.
  • Between seven days and 48 hours before dinner: the deposit may be retained where this condition has been expressly accepted.
  • Less than 48 hours before dinner: the deposit is non-refundable under the agreed contractual conditions.
  • On the day of dinner or in the event of a no-show: the total amount of the services firmly ordered may become payable within the limits set by the contract and applicable regulations.

The final number of participants and any reductions in group size are subject to the confirmation deadlines set for the group.

11.3 – Exclusive hire and private events

Cancellation, postponement and refund arrangements are defined in the accepted quotation or contract.

Any expenses incurred, specific services ordered and commitments to suppliers may be taken into account according to the agreed contractual conditions.

11.4 – New Year 2027

For reservations for the evening of 31 December 2026:

  • Any cancellation made before 24 December 2026 qualifies for a full refund.
  • After this date, the reservation is considered final, subject to applicable mandatory legal provisions.

11.5 – Refund arrangements

When a refund is due, it is processed according to the procedures of the original payment method and the applicable technical constraints.

The time taken for funds to be credited depends, in particular, on the bank and the payment provider.

Any deduction must comply with the conditions previously accepted by the customer and with applicable regulations.

Article 12 – Times, arrival and delays

The customer must observe the times communicated when booking.

If delayed, the customer is asked to contact the establishment as soon as possible.

Verde Marrakech endeavours to accommodate customers according to availability, without guaranteeing that a particular seating location will be held in the event of a significant delay.

For special evenings, the applicable times are those announced in the event programme.

Any request to arrive or leave outside the scheduled times must be approved by the restaurant.

Article 13 – Allergies, dietary requirements and special requests

Customers are asked to report their allergies, dietary restrictions and special requests before their visit.

For group menus, this information must be communicated at least four days before dinner.

Verde Marrakech considers possible adaptations according to ingredients, preparation conditions and the organisation of service.

Any adaptation remains subject to confirmation by the establishment.

Requests relating to birthdays, cakes, celebrations and other special services must be communicated in advance.

Additional services may be subject to specific charges.

Article 14 – Artistic programme and entertainment

Verde Marrakech offers an artistic and musical programme that may include singers, musicians, dancers, DJs and visual performances.

The programme may vary according to dates and events.

Minor adjustments required for artistic or technical reasons do not automatically lead to changes in dining services.

In the event of a substantial change to a service expressly included in a paid offer, the customer’s rights are assessed in accordance with the contract and applicable law.

Article 15 – Conduct and safety

Customers must respect the staff, other guests, facilities and the establishment’s safety rules.

Any dangerous, violent or disruptive behaviour may result in intervention by the responsible team.

The establishment takes the measures necessary to maintain safety and ensure that services run smoothly, in accordance with applicable regulations.

Article 16 – Liability

Verde Marrakech undertakes to provide the agreed services under the conditions defined at confirmation.

The establishment cannot be held responsible for consequences directly attributable to an event of force majeure recognised by applicable regulations.

No provision of these terms may exclude or limit mandatory consumer rights.

Article 17 – Personal data protection

Personal data provided by customers is used to manage reservations, payments, invoicing and service follow-up.

Information is processed in accordance with applicable regulations, including Moroccan Law No. 09-08.

Article 18 – Complaints and disputes

The parties favour an amicable resolution of disputes.

If no amicable solution is reached, the legally competent courts will hear the matter in accordance with Moroccan law and applicable consumer protection provisions.

Article 19 – Changes to the terms and conditions

Verde Marrakech may update these terms to reflect changes in its services, payment solutions or regulatory obligations.

The terms applicable to a confirmed service are those accepted when the customer made the commitment, unless subsequently agreed otherwise or required by law.
